Man stabbed to death over 300 Baht debt at Central Pattaya apartment block

PATTAYA: -- A Thai man was killed over an outstanding debit of just 300 Baht on Friday evening in Central Pattaya. Police and rescue workers made their way to an apartment block in Soi Arunothai and were confronted by a scene of utter carnage at the foot of the stairs in the ground floor lobby area. The body of Khun Nopadon aged 43 was lying at the foot of the stairs. He had been stabbed twice in the stomach and left chest and was pronounced dead-at-the-scene by a forensic doctor who attended. Police spoke with the victim’s girlfriend, Khun Sangloong aged 34, who works at the Sabai Dee Massage Parlor in North Pattaya. She stated that a co-worker, known only as “Ice” aged 34, owed her 300 Baht and she wanted it back. A call was made to her and she denied owing the money and after an angry exchange of words, “Ice” stated she would come to meet Khun Sangloong at her apartment.

It just shows the mentality of some of these people and how life is cheap to a big majority better to not get involved in any altercations.
