Thai Wife To Ireland

Featured Replies

Hello all,

i want to make an application for my wife to come to ireland, not for a holiday but as my wife on a settlemet visa. Unfortunately i have no job at the moment with not alot of savings, i know this is not good in visa world and was wondering if it's possible to get around this problem at all....ie: could friends be my wifes sponsor and say we would live with them? even though my wife hasnt met them?

My friends in question are married, own a house big enough for all of us and are both working and would be happy to help.

Any help appreciated and thank you. Mike.

I didn't think others could sponsor a settlement visa, I thought it had to be the spouse.

your family can send a letter to say they can support her plus they have to show they have money in the bank,if you pm i will call you and tell how we did it i was simalar to you, she in ireland now she got a 1 year no,4 stamp so she can work here, but we have to go trough it all again soon,if she gets 2nd stamp i thinks its for 3 to 5 years, hope this helps.

Are you talking about Southern Ireland or northern.

Thanks for the replies folks, forgive me as i forgot to add a couple of things...i am talking about southern Ireland, also i am from Scotland so another family member being the sponsor wouldn't work as they are all in the UK.
