Is beach road closed tonight for the international fireworks event, can anyone confirm this?

I'm sure i heard on the radio today that it was going to be tonight? did anyone else here that?

yes it has been on the radio BUT the barges have not been towed into place off the shore. So do not expect the fireworks.

Why can't city hall get their act together. They spend big bahts on various festivals/ events but fails to inform the public appropriately.
