I plan on taking this bus about a week from now, but with the floods and everything I'm wondering if it will be running?

Can anybody confirm whether this bus is running at the moment?

Unfortunately I can't answer your question BUT I do have a question for you: Are you saying that buses leave Bangkok airport for various cities throughout Thailand?! If so, where is the bus terminal at the airport? This is new to me...

1.the floods did not really impact this route. And if-well, maybe some brainwave thinking?-buses are far better suited to use other roads as trains are. Reroute-and indeed, this has happened on this route weeks ago.

2.the bus nr does not matter and no panick for this-it may even be a bus with another nr on it! It only runs 1/day, 21.00 from BUSterminal and after-as all buses STARTING at swampy do-pick up at lowest floor on AIRterminal, where there is a ticketbooth. NO-no onlinebooking-just come and see-never full (the utmost fear of panickers)/ Makes stops at all major towns in between- like Khorat, KhKhaen -Udorn. A bright yellow bus from the BoKoSo with 1st cl. standard

3.besides the very few routes starting Swampy there are also many more routes-all coming from Mochit via motorway-that serve Swampy PASSING when bookings are made-these only stop at BUSterminal-yes, there is of course also a ticketwindow there. These routes all go to the east.

4.DIRECT buses starting Swampy only go to NgKhai-as above, Aran (2/day)=Khmer border, Pattaya and KohChang. Thus the area of Thaild served directly is quite limited-not central, west nor south.

5.in the forumpart about Swampy I have posted a few monthes ago a detailed overview of all these routes-even though there were the usual TV-wisenosers claiming to know better.

Thanks to asanee for that very detailed reply, you are saying here that the bus to Nong Khai stops in the BUSterminal and also the AIRterminal?
