March 8, 200620 yr Nobody has posted the legendary view from Pattaya Hill. It deserves to be in at least 1 photo: Then, while there, Royal Cliff Resort, arguably the best hotel in Pattaya. one of it's pools. There must be a building next to it now, it was a construction site 1.5 yrs ago: Pattaya park from the tower: Jomtien Beach, from the same tower. Red roofs coming first are Rabbit Resort. Still lots of land for development.

March 23, 200619 yr Thanks Artisan, you really caught the idea from the OP. Good to be reminded what it used to be like.............. Are you sure about your Pattaya Main Drag photo? That tree looks very like the one in the middle of the road at Naklua. The tower in many of the other photos shows they are mid 90's or later.

May 10, 200619 yr Artisan, I think you're pictures of Pattaya and Naklua back in the 60s are brilliant. What a world away from modern Pattaya. I wish I had been able to visit Pattaya when it was still like that. Sadly I wasn't even born then!! Excellent pics anyway. Anybody else got any old pics of Patti? N@
May 26, 200619 yr Jomtien. First pic taken 2001, then second one from almost same viewpoit (top of Jomtien Complex) in March 2006. Just 5 years separates the two images....!! We don't really notice the differences from ground level as much do we?
