Transport To Hua Hin

Featured Replies

Is there a van service or another good way to get to Hua Hin from Pattaya. How long is the journey?

Try searching for the Yellow Bus.

As I recall it is cheap and quite quick too but departure times are limited.

(yellow bus and other options)

There's a van service on south pattaya road on the north side of the road about halfway between Third road and Sukhumvit--a few hundred meters east of Soi Kopai/Soi Bongkot. It's been there a while, but I've never inquired about pricing/times etc.

Go to Tops supermarket on Pattaya Klang...outside the supermarket in the lay by is the pick up point, a guy sitting under the umbrella runs it all etc. The minibus leaves every hour on the hour to Hua Hin, via change at Bangkok, very simple, 350 Baht.

Don't use the direct service at 400 Baht, it stops at nearly every small town along the way!

the direct ferry service starts up again in about a week for the high season, not as cheap as the bus but certainly a different way to travel. Travel time is 3-4 hours.

The place mentioned by JimmyD is this place I believe, its on Soi 10:-

My friends took the van To/From Hua Hin. The price one way I believe was 400 baht. The travel time was 4 hours.

They said it was comfortable enough, but as its just a van - its obviously not as comfortable as a VIP bus.

They went on the 10.00 am bus which was not full and came back on the 9 am bus which was full.
