Oh joy, I always wanted a picture of a toilet brush... ph34r.gif

If he had paid it, he may have considered charging them with robbery ...

The psychology of it is interesting. Wonder if he was thinking, they'll never suspect anyone of stealing a toilet brush.

Quality toilet brush for the quality tourist.

Maybe bog brushes are valuable in Russia. I remember years ago staying in Leningrad you had to take your own bath plug!

1,560 baht for a toilet brush?

Do people really pay that price?

They are about 30 baht in the local market albeit not chrome or gold plated.

Also an employee of a travel agency, hope he was not a guide!!!

Hafele stuff is expensive but it is very good quality...and I can think of some interesting things to do with such a fancy plunger...especially with his little Thai friend pictured there :o

The article stated that he had to be arrested, there is no compromise under the law. Now that's really funny, considering we are in Thailand!

You couldn't make these stories up.
