Digitalbanana
We have this one laptop that has an Intel Centrino 6200 wifi card built in that often locks up on wifi access, but is ok when using network direct cable. Other laptops that don't have Intel wifi cards in don't do this on the same router. Anyone had similar issue or got the solution? Thinking of buying an Intel 6300 to compare, but not sure if the result will be same or where to buy besides Ebay?
melsnet
Can't answer your questions, but have you thought of buying a USB WFI dongle, they are very good.
beano2274
Pantip is a good place for the part required. Let them do the work and physically check it.
Digitalbanana
Will check out Pantip when I get back to Bangkok... using a USB stick for time being... Googling Intel 6200 wifi shows the issue happens elsewhere, but no conclusion... seems to be wifi router dependent as well. A crap shoot in other words. Pisses me off as it's a brand new high end laptop.
kellbell
My lap top was the same. I updated the drivers for the WiFi card and the network controller. Worked fine after that
