Hi all i will be looking to rent in pattaya in jan.... just a one bed place, good places and places to stay clear from

am looking between 5000 to 6000 baht a month and am looking at renting 12 months for the time being

You would have to be some distance from the centre of town and off the beaten track to get a 1-bed for 6K.

Not sure if "one bed place" in the OP means a "one bedroom place" or a "place with one bed." The latter could be a small studio.

True enough.

For small studios:

Soi Buakow/3rd Rd/South Rd area, near the Friday market. And quite a lot of places east of 3rd Rd.

Maybe places at the back of Jomtien like BSL or Majestic. Angket also.

If the OP could extend to 7 or 8K, he should be able to find a studio in View Talay 1.
