Had An Un-Explained Fire In The House ?

Featured Replies

hi,

i went upstairs to bed and found everything is black with soot and smoke damage !

looks like it's come out of the bathroom drain hole.

we have been sorting the spare room out today and have sprayed some mosquito spray around but i don't think that's caused it ?

it's a standard 2 up 2 down town house in chiang mai.

anybody got any ideas ?

Methane

Phii?

Burning plastic?

Maybe a faulty (plastic) socket!

Yeah suspect electrical, most fires are I believe?? Also Thai electrics leave a lot to be desired!!

Anyone smoke in the household??

Spontaneous Self-Combustion, any family members missing?

oh dear i feel a bit stupid now,

just found a candle in the bathroom which must be the reason,

the smoke must have been drawing through the drain pipe not the other way around.

the candles tiny but an amazing amount of damage.

the gf must have conveniently not mentioned it last night so i helped clean up.

A large frog farted. :bah:
