Applying For A Tourist Visa In Thailand

Featured Replies

Hello.

I am in thailand at the moment. I have 30 days before I have to leave and come back.

Is it possible to just go and get a 60 day tourist visa from somewhere in thailand so that I don't have to leave the country and come back?

I am 22 and from England.

Cheers.

You cannot obtain any type of visa inside the Kingdom.

What sort of visa do you have now? If it's a tourist (NOT a 30 day stamp) you can get a 30 day extension from your local immigration (1900 Baht).

Otherwise, the best bet is a run down to Penang for a tourist visa, gives you 60 day entry (extandable by 30 days, as above). If you want to be here longer, you can get a double entry tourist from Penang and do a quick border hop to activate the second entry.
