Hi if you are in Thailand and have a few min to help me here is the problem.

I am out of town (off island) making a visa and a bit worried as I cant get a call thru from Malaysia back at our home in Samui. I have made about 100 tries but no way jose.

Could someone call for me and check in with my girl and make sure she is ok?

I dont know why I cant get thru but with the big storm and all I hear about there I am not suprised either.

Just let me know if she is ok and ask her (or anyone there else knows) if I should delay coming back for a day or 2 if I cant make it all the way back there?

I have a mini bus ticket leaving for in the morning 5 am and would rather sleep here another night then somehwere else in Thailand if I cant return safely to Samui on Sat afternoon.

just called her few times ..no one accepted the phone, just " please lets the number in call back service"

normally she (Ta) has her phone working and on

another # there may work and that is

that is only about 30 meters away from our house

the Thai woman, "Oi" there speak some English and can get Ta to the phone too.

These are all for sure good numbers I think.

One is a biz land line next door that is well used as are the two hand phone line numbers I gave you too.

They have been working for years.

Do you have DTAC by any chance?

Sometimes that wont work with AIS lines I am only guessing at this point.

Not sure what to do. How is it in Samui now if that is where you are?

I know the lines are not so good this time with the rain and all. Also maybe the hand phone batteries are dead without power in that area? I am only guessing again.

Ok if you dont mind trying again that would be nice I will check the numbers but I think they are for surer correct

You should pass phone numbers by private message instead of posting in the open forum. Some freaky guest member (483 online right now) might decide to call up the GF and give her a hard time.

You may want to edit your posts / contact a mod to do it if it is too late to do it yourself.

Hat Yai is flooded, I understand. The ferries are running to Samui but I don't know that I would want to be on one, the waves are quite big. Samui and Phangan have been having power outages all day, probably her battery is dead. Or could be the towers are down. Land lines have been sporadic too, I am afraid, ours is working now but wasn't earlier today.

Ayakiawe, binos advice was good & I think you misunderstood his post, he was stating that there can be strange people on an internet forum who could make trouble for your gf & the other people who's numbers you had given & I agree with him, so I have removed them & suggest you send them via pm if someone offers to call her.
