I uploaded a new photo/avatar yesterday. When I look at my settings, I see the new avatar, but my posts still show the old one.

Size of the new one is 37,599 Bytes.

Nearly always a caching issue either the ISP cache or local cache. Hit the CTRL+F5 keys to reload the page and refresh the local cache. If it doesn't reflect the new avatar then will have to wait for the ISP cache to update which can be 1-3+ days.

Crtl-F5 didn't do the trick in Firefox. I guess I'll wait 3 days and complain again then. ;)

What avatar are you seeing: A guy looking straight at you, or a guy looking to the left of the screen (so his left ear is looking straight at you)?

I saved it to my disk and re-post it here as a new image and you'll see what I see.

//edit - just went to your profile page and now know what you are expecting. I'm still seeing the old one so it could be Thaivisa's caching server. It also can cause this effect.

//edit2 - As soon as I said the above I did another ctrl+f5 and now see this one. So everything is fine, just wait or try CTRL+F5 periodically.

A new crtl-F5 didn't do it over here, but since you are seeing the new avatar now, I think it's just a couple of days until I'll see it too. :)
