December 30, 201114 yr Hi, I'm staying in Silom and need a Tetanus shot. Does the Red Cross hospital provide this ? Otherwise where can I get one without having to go to somewhere like BNH. Thanks
December 30, 201114 yr I believe they do. (Red cross). So do all hospitals, clinics etc including government hospitals. If the Red Cross clinic doesn't offer it and you want rock bottom cost and don't mind spending a lot of time waiting/dealing with red tape, then go on over to Chulalonghorn hospital. Or if you'd like a compromise between cost and hassle, go to either Bangkok Christian Hospital (right on Silom near Saladaeng) or St Louis Hospital (on Sathorn near Susrasak BTS).

January 1, 201214 yr Red Cross at Queen Saovabha Institute ( //Snake Farm) , 1871 Rama 4 road, 02 252 0161-4 ext 132 weekdays 8.30-4.30 weekends and holidays 8.30- 12 noon, registration (one time only) 20 thb, shot 40 thb. was the only person there that time so, very quick. 40 baht, that's a bargain. Had a couple of tetanus shots myself recently. Hospital outside Bangkok for 460 baht and in Bangkok 470 baht. My wife says should be only 160 baht so 60 baht all up is super cheap but a bit far to go for me when I need my third shot.
January 1, 201214 yr Visit Chulalongkorn Hospital which is just across the street from The Dusit Thani Hotel. This hospital is always crowded so better go to the evening clinic. Be there around 4 PM for registration. Believe it or not I got the same medicine, for Asthma, as I got from BNH at half a price!
