January 8, 201214 yr There were rumours last week that AirAsiaX are going to start a direct BKK to London flight, there will be very very good opening offers, if this is true. AA have good seat pitch, but they use a 3-3-3 formation so the width is poor, especially if you have fat A*** like me. But you will save $$$ over the traditional flag flyers that fly businessmen in half empty planes at extortionate rates, yes. AirAsia sponsor a London football team QPR and have 2 hotels in London already, i think it is unlikely that there will be cancellation of the KUL-LGW route, maybe less flights though. January 8, 201214 yr Avoid at all costs. Air India has a dreadful safety record and Indian nationals tend to be a rude bunch with poor hygiene. The last thing you would want is to be a long haul flight stuck next to a bearded woman that smells of 10 year old curry powder.

And I bet she dreams of sitting next to some lardy-arsed firangi, who reeks of stale beer and fried food, and who scores low in the teeth to tattoo ratio. Going cheap has its costs.
January 11, 201214 yr I last went Air India to London around a decade ago -too long ago to be relevant. But let me recommend Jet Airways out of Mumbai: New fleet comparable prices, good service, short changeover in either Delhi or Mumbai. Flew with 9 year old daughter. Nice crew, attentive and helpful. Watch out for Air India. Aging planes, nothing to prove. Always look for newish airlines with a young fleet ; Etihad often have discounts and they're very good!
January 11, 201214 yr I flew AirIndia to Japan once and i promised myself not to take it again. I'd rather pay even ten thousands more for my life safety.

Not a chance in hell of Air AsiaX doing a Lon-Bkk flight when they are already pulling out completely from Europe ??
