Head scarves fair enough, facial veils no. Islamic scholars have stated repeatedly that the veil is not a requirement of Islam, but modesty is. So no complaints from me in regards to the modesty issue, but the veil seriously annoys me.

How do you know that those are really women under all than cloth? One objection to the full burka (unlike the hajib) is that you have no idea who is really behind the veil.
