Rimmer Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Thai man accused of attempted theft from drunken foreigner in South Pattaya PATTAYA: -- A foreign man who was found unconscious in front of a foreign exchange booth on Pattaya Second Road early on Friday Morning was able to return home with his mobile phone and wallet thanks to members of the public who spotted a man attempting to steal the items from him. Police were called to the Tanachart Bank booth in South Pattaya just before 2am and were confronted by the unknown foreign man who was lying in front of the ATM machines. Next to him was Khun Wanchai aged 39 who claims the drunken foreigner, who was carrying no forms of identification, handed the wallet and mobile phone to him just before he collapsed, a story the Police did not believe.
