Rimmer Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Consumer Protection Police raid two South Pattaya shops PATTAYA: -- Police conducted raids of two small shops at the Grand Hall market in South Pattaya on Friday Afternoon due to complaints on an internet chat forum relating to items which do not display prices on them. Officers from the Consumer Protection Police Division from Bangkok conducted the raid and were able to detain one of the two shop owners who was told that failure to display prices for items at the shop was an offence and everything would be confiscated pending further enquiries. pattayadingo Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Shops showing prices? Whatever next! How can they inflate the price to us foreigners if it is shown in the first place? Surely the idea of displaying prices will never catch on.
