zappalot Posted January 15, 2012 Share Posted January 15, 2012 anyone want to share a taxi for a visa run to Aranjaprathet/Cambodian Border for Visa Run on Sunday 22nd of January (alternatively Monday 23rd of January? i did this several times now and am very familiar with everything now. So i also can tell you what to do exactly if u r not familiar with the procedure. If we are 4 people altogether the cost excluding visa fee for Cambodia will be not more than 750 Baht per person and. For the Visa fee for cambodia bring a 20 US-$ Bill. I can bring for you if u don't have. In exchange i just need 630 Baht. So we will be back very quickly for about 1400 Baht including all fees and costs/and Visa fees! The taxi driver i prefer is not to slowly but very carefully, always keeping distances to the next vehicles which i appreciate a lot. I we are just three people the cost per person just rises a little bit from about 1400 baht to about 1600 baht, so if i find just 2 people that would be great as well. zappalot Posted January 15, 2012 Author Share Posted January 15, 2012 the visa process itself just needs about 30-maximum 60 minutes, depending on how many people will do it at the same time. of course u need a valid visa like a tourist visa or business visa. Or you just want to get another 15 days by crossing the landborder. anyway u r welcome to join. start will be around 7 in the morning (from my side a start even more early is possible) so we can be back easily in the early afternoon. My visa expires on 21 January so I would be more than willing to do this run in a taxi on the 20th if possible. Let me know if that is feasible. zappalot Posted January 16, 2012 Author Share Posted January 16, 2012 But, Whitebobo, if ur visa expires on the 21st it would be absolutely fine to go on the 21st instead of the 20th. in the meantime i found out that i am free on the 21st as well, so that would be great if it works out. You can ask here, everyone can ensure you that its 100% with the law if ur visa expires on the 21st that its ok to do the border run on the 21st. tekinsel Posted January 17, 2012 Share Posted January 17, 2012 my visa expires 25 january, i did cambodia border run with a company one time ( 1900 baht ) but one of my friend told me can make it with casino bus too, it is 200baht ( go and turn ) and if you go casino ( not need to play ) you can get 100baht back and get free food, i want come 21-22 because in weekdays i have to care my newborn baby, if it is ok 21 january good for all of us, thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
