Hey Guys, another "anyone know where I can find" question. This time: Coconut "Cream"?

The long shelf life coconut milk (UHT) in those cartons are everywhere... but I can't find any coconut cream at the local markets Ive been to which Im very surprised at.

I found it challenging to locate some down in Phuket but I ended finding some... it was tinned coconut cream too which is alot better than the UHT treated stuff.

Anyone know where I can find some in Chiang Mai... I can't imagine there not being any around.

It is often difficult to find -- for what reason is beyond me. Just keep checking your local supermarket or the Thai markets and eventually the shelves will be stocked.

Most fresh markets have a place making coconut milk, you have to look in the back, I know C.M Gate (kad pratu chiang mai) and Luang have.

Yes mostly at the back of the local markets. I have seen at Muang Mai Market and Chiang Mai Gate market.

You've got to use fresh coconut milk in a hurry. Best to have the blender warmed up and the rum and pineapple juice ready to go when you get back home.

I found clear one liter plastic bottles of organic at a few places. I think Tesco, Big C, Tops and/or Rimping all carry it.

Sorry I can't remember where I got mine, but I am pretty sure the bottles were near the regular coconut milk....
