pauljones Posted January 22, 2012 Share Posted January 22, 2012 Instead of forbidding casinos in Thailand, they should better allow them and tax them, it would avoid billions of THB to be lost in the casinos at the border of Cambodia or Birma....and the money would be spent in Thailand instead of going abroad... When you see all the gogo bars and other similar places where girls and nudity are exploited in Phuket, Bkk, Pattaya, etc...it makes me smile such a hypochrisy ! If gambling was legal, the cops would lose out. There are hundreds or thousands of casinos in Thailand and every one of them has police or military protection.
