sharktooth
I am moving from pattaya to chiang mai and my bike was originally registered in pattaya. Do I need to re-register in chiang mai and get a new plate?
Kwasaki
No-one answered ?? I don't really know but as a guess if you have a new address in another province I think the bike is supposed to be registered there and should have a CM plate. thaicbr
correct.. Should.... but you don't have to. Maybe easier in the long term though.. being seen as a local.
janverbeem
I live in Pattaya and my bike is registered in Bangkok.I just do my yearly tax renewals in Pattaya with no questions asked. If I had to transfer it to pattaya I would also get a new number attached to it. katabeachbum
Change of adress must be reported to DLT in new Province. Few bothers. Change of plate only if you desire and want to pay a few hundred baht for it
vel_tins
Change of adress must be reported to DLT in new Province. Few bothers Agree, but if you want to sell the bike, the buyer might have trouble to transfer ownership. I don´t know about CNX, but in Pattaya/Banglamung, it is NOT possible to transfer ownership from a "foreign" bike. You have to go to Chonburi (three times). Stupid system! Stupid system! yeah, I should have said few bothers until they want to transfer ownership. Then there is a 5 days wait for new DLT to get docs/files from old DLT, before ownership transfer can take place
