Apparent suicide of Macedonian at his rented house in Jomtien

PATTAYA: -- A Macedonian resident of Pattaya apparently hung himself at his rented house opposite the Jomtien Garden Resort on Thursday morning. Police were called to the house after the body of Mr. Edevit Zengoski aged 37 was found hanging from steel spikes positioned along the wall close to the front entrance.

A leather belt was tied around the spike and around Mr. Zengoski’s neck.

Police estimate he had been dead for less than 1 hour. The body was discovered by the Swimming Pool Cleaner who entered the property as he does every day and discovered the body and contacted Police who later confirmed there was no evidence of foul play and furthermore no potential motive behind the apparent suicide was revealed.

In one of the pictures his feet appear to be touching the ground.

agree , this would not be treated as a suicide in most countries, was there a note??? ..... it wasnt mentioned

his placemnent of body suggests this was staged, as why would he hang himself where he did ? , when you could hang yourself with an easier death? , with his postion his body would have wanted to stand up .......

unreal really, i just showed this story to a Police Friend who automatiaclly said, this would be a murder enquiry !, untill they could rule it out then it would be sucide, but you should NEVER judge sucide before ruling out murder

In one of the pictures his feet appear to be touching the ground.

In the Thai newspaper, Khao Sod, the larger, full-length, un-pixelated photo clearly shows both of his feet on the ground.

Difficult to believe a leather belt would stretch that far while he hung from it (allowing for both his feet to be firmly touching the pool tiles), especially as it's theorized he had only been dead an hour,

I won't directly link the article due to extremely graphic nature of the photo, but I will link the homepage of the newspaper:
