How hug Chiang Mai, that's the rather interesting transliteration from the local Muang language of เฮาฮักเจียงใหม่ , 'We love Chiang Mai', and is the name of a new complex next to Nim Airport, where Rim Ping Airport is.

Rumor has it that this will be a similar mini-mall like Meechoke Plaza, a boutique shopping plaza if you will. That would be very nice I think to have one of those on that side of town.

I could not find anything solid on the Internet on this though; does anyone know anything more? The sign is up on the building I noticed when I was at Rim Ping today.

I saw some construction going on there... was wondering as well what it was gonna be. I was actually hoping for another hi-so car wash, but I guess this is nice too.
