The Pattaya-based Melissa Cosgrove Children’s Foundation (MCCF) is benefiting from the new Internet-based game and marketing concept FreePlayo Pattaya.

MCCF helps the children of construction workers, who often live in poor conditions far from their homes, and other disadvantaged children throughout Thailand and Myanmar (Burma).

MCCF Founder Tracy Cosgrove said: “MCCF is delighted to have been chosen as the Charity Partner for FreePlayo Pattaya and commends FreePlayo for its corporate social responsibility initiatives.”

Matt O’Sullivan, Managing Director of OPEN Advertising, which holds the Thai license for FreePlayo, said: “MCCF enjoys, for free, all the branding and marketing benefits offered to the commercial sponsors of FreePlayo Pattaya plus revenue-raising opportunities.”

FreePlayo is a free online game in which players interact with sponsors’ brands and promotions. Users play the game regularly to accumulate points that they can exchange for cash and prize rewards. Among the rewards available are cash donations to MCCF sponsored by FreePlayo Pattaya and other advertisers. Players may choose to redeem their points for a donation to MCCF rather than a product or cash prize for themselves.

Pattaya-Jomtien is the first region in the world to be served by FreePlayo. FreePlayo Pattaya targets residents of Pattaya-Jomtien, as well people in Bangkok and further afield who enjoy regular holidays in the area.

FreePlayo Pattaya reflects the quality and diversity of the Pattaya-Jomtien lifestyle and tourism experience.

“Sponsors of FreePlayo Pattaya will benefit from multiple repeat exposures and interactions, which are extremely valuable,” said David Gillbanks, Co-Founder and Director of FreePlayo Limited. “Very few media offer this.”

The public can register and play for free at www.FreePlayo.com/pattaya.
