I'm looking to get a cheap, but playable, second hand electric guitar to practice on. Can anyone give me some recommendations of good guitar shops in Bangkok for me to go and check out?

I have seen guys selling 2nd hand guitars outside on the street in front of Chatuchak Market and sometimes insied, but this is hit and miss.

Pawn shops will be your best bet. There is a large one in FORTUNE TOWER (Rama 9 MRT) on the 4th floor near the center of the building.

There is also a store in PANTIP PLAZA on the mezzanine level, left side as you enter that displays a lot of guitars and amps. I'm not sure if these are used or not but the attached shop sells used computer gear.

Pantip Ngamwongwan has on the 6th floor, but they are refurbishing and have moved on the 7th floor not sure where though.

Yellowmama on Soi Thonglor is apparently the best place. Not sure about cheap though..? http://www.yellowmama.com/

There is a used guitar shop in the Coco Walk complex on the East side of Ratchavee BTS station.
