Watch Shop

Featured Replies

Hiya all

Asking you good people for your advice again.

I have one Baby G watch the strap is very old now and I want to change it without having to throw away the watch as it was pretty expensive so it is just a case of swapping the strap.

I have one Garmin For Runner watch and the front window plate has smashed off. I need to get a new front covering so that is the second thing.

Can anyone recommend a good watch shop for getting these things fixed? I live in Santhitham - Chang Phueak area but anywhere will be good.

Thank you!

Tapae Rd, heading away from the river towards the old city.

After you pass the night Bizarre Rd look out on your left side.

Its quite small but has I think a Rolex sign up high thats quite visible.

I've had good service there, repairs at the back of the shop, guy speaks good English.

The above mentioned establishment is very good, they carry many well known brands & you pay accordingly, for basic no brainer stuff as you want you will get a good job done at a fraction of the price at either of the 2 watch repair stalls on the main strip thru the middle of Worowat Market, I have used one guy there on 6 or 7 occasions for 100 % good result, on the footpath on the left as you drive thru outside the main market building.

Charoensilp (place mentioned on Taphae) are great. I can't say enough good things about their work. But only go there if you have a major repair with an older watch. About a year ago they got rid of the many, many thousands of straps they had to open up more room for their optical business. Last time I was there a couple of months ago they didn't have even one strap to fit my watch. For battery replacement, straps, crystals, etc. you can find less expensive places. One place with a huge variety of straps is in Airport Plaza just on the right and up a few shops as you exit Robinson. Sorry I forget what floor. Another place with a very good selection is on Chang Phueak very close to Chang Phueak Gate, coming from the Gate there are about 3 watch shops on the left. There is one with a large selection and the owner I think controls all the shops.

Chang Puek Gate. ~200 meters up on Chotana . Opposite the Muslim mosque. Talented older Thai speaking English sells watches and eye glasses. Has new computerised eye tester. Not expensive.
