owl1971 Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Hi , My Wife is currently on FLR for 2 years(until Dec 2013) , we intend bringing her 8 Year old son to settle in the UK , as i understood it if he was granted the visa he would tag onto my wifes visa I.E FLR until Dec 2013. We have all the evidence and documentation sorted including sole responsibility evidence I have just had a look on the UKBA website and it states to bring a child you must be on ILR !! From UKBA Web site = your child or children can join you in the UK if you are a British citizen, or if you have been given permission to settle here permanently (also known as 'indefinite leave to remain'). I'm a bit confused as we were hoping to bring her son , so he could get a few years in at junior school and then move on to comprehensive school. Has any body else brought there spouses children to the uk for settlement on FLR. Your help would be much appreciated. Many Thanks
