I'm sorry, I did look but missed the ENTIRE SECTION on VISAS! What an idiot.... Please move this. I can't delete.

Is there a place in Bangkok where I can get VISAs for China, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam? I have been to each country website to read their 'rules' and many forums do mention travel agencies as an option. Just curious to know if such a place exists, that can apply for VISAs for one person in multiple countries to save time.

  • The above website is absolutely painless and you can get a 3 month multiple entry for Vietnam (or a lessor time/entry if desired) . They email you a confirmation and voucher within a couple days (can be done in a single business day for a small extra fee) which you print and present to the visa-on-arrival counter at your arrival airport in Vietnam. The visa-on-arrival counter will affix a visa into your passport on the spot. Make sure you bring passport sized photos with you for this service. There is also a stamping fee at the visa-on-arrival counter. These details are laid out clearly on the website when you apply. This option is generally the cheapest and smoothest option for Vietnam visas, takes about 5 minutes start to finish for the application. One item to note, make sure you have this voucher and conformation documentation with you when you get your boarding passes or they will not issue them to you. You must show proof of these items at the departure airport.
  • Any reputable travel agent can handle the China visa for you. You leave them your passport, which is couriered to the embassy, and you get it back in a day or so depending if you want to pay extra for expedited service. If you want a reference I have a travel agent I have used for more than 5 years in Central BKK who is excellent, send pm if you want a referral.
  • As stated above, you do not need prearranged visas for Laos and Cambodia. Make sure you have extra passport photos and cash (USD works in any of these countries) for the various fees when you arrive to these countries for entry.
