Since Thai visa introduced the new forum formats, my animated avatar photo, which is gif format, will no longer work, yet, worked fine before the format changes.

Tried deleting several times and re-uploaded, made no difference.

So, am I doing something wrong or is it that the new Thai visa format no longer supports animated avatars?

How big is the avatar, 200kB is the limit? Also try to make it no larger than 100x100 pixels. Also, sometimes it takes from a few hours to a few days before the ISP cache catches up. Quite a few members with animated gifs.

My animated gif avatar is 74kb, 96 x 96 pixels.

Have been trying for weeks, but it will not work. No problems before the change of Thai visa format.

What I did was delete old one, wait for plain outline then put new one but it took about two days to come up properly.

It`s worked. Halleluiah. It`s only taken 2 months, but it was all worth it.

The problem now is, look at old Beety, he`s really cheesed off.

Well, not to be too pedantic, but he, or she, should look cheesed off because he probably knows the "miracle" effect has not yet spread to RJM's screen, which is rather a shame, as I used to rather enjoy those coy but sexy antics.
