Tywais
For those interested in home built gadgets we designed an electric bike at CMU. The first stage is using batteries to test the mechanics and the control electronics. Later we will be replacing the batteries with a Hydrogen/Oxygen fuel cell for proof of concept. Current results can be seen here: http://www.fnrf.science.cmu.ac.th/bicycle/
nmontesa
Hi, just got to Bangkok 6 weeks ago and now that I have a job to supplement my minimum 1 year stay, I was excited to see an electric bike development (DIY) project in the area. As an original member of the ZAPPY electric vehicle forum on yahoo groups around year 2000, myself and others in the NYC discussed the topic extensively. I would like if possible to get in touch with developers in Thailand to discuss designing a project of my own with the help of your real world specs. Best regards, Nathan Montesa
