I tried to search for said content however the Thaivisa server returned a message saying " Sorry, we are unable to handle such a volume of BS at this time".

Not the best, but rather the most pathetic, post was a recent one called 'bad experience with Thai girl'.

There was this peculiar guy who recently came up with an interesting topic. Funny name like blither or blather or some such thing. Anyway, I have searched high and low but can’t seem to find it.

Think this is it,

This another belting read, the title alone says it all.

If Mr Toad is reading this he can come up with one about a couchsurfer, a can opener and a bottle of beer.

Up To You

....started by KamalaDreamer.

IanForbes holiday snaps a close second. Real name presumably.

I started this topic http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/455900-farmers-sob-stories/page__st__100 I never thought it would have so many replies,

So anybody thinking of farming in Thai might want to read this first,

I dont mean to blow my own trumpet, but there is lots of good info there, Thankyou, Lickey.

Yep. Lots of good info.

Farang is either money or he is worth more.

Up to them.

Also this was an absolute classic, but now that all the posts calling out the April fools joke have been put back in, it's lost some of its humour. At the time, though, watching it develop and seeing how many people were sucked in by it was hilarious:

Most of the April Fool pranks have been ball bouncingly funny, but that one topped the lot.

Thaddeus, if you poke it in the right place, you only need one prong

(can I say that on TV?)

Someone else already mentioned the thread but the first thread I thought of after reading the OP was the "Grumpiest Expat in Thailand" thread which amused me no end! I find posts by Bendix to be very astute and sometimes bitingly sarcastic/funny. For Knowledge on all things "Visa" I have always respected the opinions and postings of Lopburi 3. Agree that the thread on finished houses is a must read, particularly if you like to dream of living in a mansion in up country areas. I am sure that this thread will end up being well visited.

A whole thread from eight years ago: "The Battle Over the Wipe" A primer on Thai toilets.

I remember laughing until the tears rolled.

My favorite post from that thread by Zedo:

- Me, not really much into arse finger painting;

- nor do I much cherish napalm sensations of a badly wiped rose bud;

thus - bumgun all the way.

Most of the April Fool pranks have been ball bouncingly funny, but that one topped the lot.

Will be interesting to see if they can top it this year - not long now...!

Shhhhhh.......... let's not bring it to attention ;)

I always look-forward to seeing the April-Fools-Day threads, myself ! tongue.png

Hilarious! I had a good long laugh out loud at that one. A classic to be sure.
