BigBikeBKK
Planning a ride to Malaysia at the end of the month and will lend a bike to a friend because his finance company refuses to allow his bike out of Thailand. Green books have already been translated. I understand that since my friend doesn't own the bike he needs a letter from the owner (me) giving him permission to take it out of the country. What is the name of this letter? Thanks in advance! Tony

Kwasaki
C'mon, nobody knows the answer to this question?! Kata would know. but he's indisposed at the moment. Yep, we probably should have all paid a little more attention... His knowledge will be missed. There was a topic about this somewhere but I cannot find anything on search. The only thing I remember is that everything can be done at the border. Regard " kata " as a cyber friend as I think many here do, please let us know he is OK. Kwasaki
Thailand / Malaysian legal land border crossings they say are relatively easy and hassle free. Thai. sadao - Mal. changloon. " . pandang besar - Mal. kaki bukit. " . betong - Mal. keroh. " . sungal golok - Mal. rantau panjang. http://www.gt-rider.com/touring-information-overview/s-e-asian-border-crossings
