Does anyone have recommendations for any particular company/plan for personal accident insurance here in Thailand (or Bangkok)?

I took out BUPA accident insurance because I cycle through Bangkok on a daily basis. I have had the policy for 3 years and made one claim 6 months ago; although the reason for the claim was not cycling related. They paid up in full and settled with the hospital directly.

Premium is about 1,500 Thai Baht per year.

Because I made a claim during last year's cover, they uploaded the new policy by 10% on renewal, which in the event was only around 135 Baht. If no claims this year, that 10% will be deducted again.

When you apply for cover, they have 3 levels of risk. Mine is in the lowest risk group, as most of my time is spent either in an office or at home. However, the difference in the premium between the 3 levels is very small.

Cover will only be at 50% when using motorcycle taxis.

Their head office is right opposite Bangkok Nursing Home in Convent road; Q House.

Hope this helps.
