Bill Maher is an idiot! IMHO

The problem with correcting anything someone says is you leave yourself open to rebuttal, and you always have to be perfect all the time. That's nearly impossible to do. Typos are my most common mistake because I am slightly dyslecsic and I often get letters in the wrong order.

I would never correct someone's grammar; oh no, not ever, if there was the slightest opportunity to sarcastically misinterpret it in a wildly obtuse direction, hopefully derailing the thread entirely.

Whilst we're on the subject of comedians, I find Billy Connolly's swearing generally over the top, and not funny in itself, unlike his audiences. I generally don't expose myself to culture these days much, anyway, except if the dishes have been left in the sink too long

If writing in all capital letters is considered shouting, what is the equivalent for writing without capitalisation, in all lower case?

I prefer Bill Maher too - even though I think his politics are silly. At least he is sometimes funny. Rush just seems like a nasty, old, uptight grump to me.

Don't take it personal though, that assumes that the people you're interacting with here have personalities and going with the average farang in Thailand that's a long stretch.

If you want proof of that I refer you to the previous 1033 pages of content where people berate their fellow farangs actions in real life. You'll probably find half of the members will be nodding sagely at this point, while the other half ( the one's that don't own a mirror ) will be getting the flame guns out.
