A couple of quick questions

1) Anyone tell me which airline AirAsiaX have issued you tickets for now they have stopped doing the flights themselves?

2) Did you get a baggage allowance? I have not booked baggage with AirAsiaX, but I am hoping I might get some free baggage with the new airline.

I liked them because there was no stopover unlike Etihad which I normally take - straight from KL to London - I always felt like a zombi getting off in abu dhabi after 8 hours

If you waited for the sales there were cheaper - 1 way including taxes and also a choice of seat was £143! on the way back a non sale ticket was £200 for me.

but anyway, anyone know the answers to my 2 questions?

OMG-again someone who tries to play the tr-agent for himself.

AA will NOT voluntarily book you onto any other airline-money back, thats all. Fetch for yourself, after all youre a big boy to have booked them all by yourself (and forgotten to read the fine print) . After all-they are not in any of those big airline alliances or IATA faresystem. YOu are just fooling yourself about ';'they have to''.

THus Q2 superfuous.

It might well be possible that someone from Malaysia and booked them In MY and threatening them with some Malay law-might have been rebooked onto MAS. MOst likely in this case it was the return in a single booking. You did not specify as to your booking. And why ask these things here? pick up the fone and try to call them. Then you get 1st hand answers.

asanee quote "AA will NOT voluntarily book you onto any other airline-money back, thats all."

The OP was asking about AirAsiaX not AA (AirAsia). Two different companies.

I know for sure that AirAsiaX have given their customers an option to transfer to Malaysian Airlines free of charge for cancelled KUL-LGW flights, because i'm one of them.biggrin.png

With regards to the OP Question 2, i was thinking the exact same.thumbsup.gif

Guess we have a new level of MOD here. Calm down, this is a forum where people attempt to help each other, no matter how the question may seem to some.

There is no need for you to frame an answer in the way you have.

Ahhh, just did a search and found this thread, as was having a quick check on airasia's prices for the end of the year....so is a definite then uh. Or, maybe will be running again later in the year (tourist period)? Im surprised. Would have thought they would have a lot of customers. Maybe thats not the reason though...?

not running again, due to economic climate in Europe.

I did see a flight from London to Tokyo £258 return! September - November - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/flight-london-tokyo-from-265-return-september-november-2012-expedia-1174900

So anyone know if they got free baggage allowance on the new flight AirAsiaX assigned you with?

Just received our e-tickets for Malaysian Airlines, BKK-KUL-LHR flights for the cancelled AirAsiaX BKK-KUL-LGW and receiving 20kg of free luggage allowance each.

Happy days.
