When I lived in Chiangmai I grew a few stevia trees in my garden. You should do the same.

Interesting, can you say where you bought them at, and what they are called in Thai?

Stevia plant, satiwia, หญ้าหวาน) ya wan)

I'm using the dried leaves for my teas, but would like to get some seeds or plants. (Chatuchak?)

The Jiaogulan-plant from JJ grows nicely.

What I found in Rimping was a 50/50 stevia/ brown sugar product from green sweet. I don't use it often.

I ordered white stevia powder from the US, This brand has a little bitterness but the one I had before was great.

I looked in most places in CM too, no white powder. Tinctures have the same taste as the tincture tea I make from the leaves.

I can give you some to try If that's what you want.

A guy from Biorich has delivered their stevia powder to me through his cousin at Mengrai Kilns in Chiang Mai (inside the moat). Originally I just sent email to their website to make contact.

No need to pay in advance. I just took cash to pay his cousin when I picked it up. - Grin

Do you have contact information for this guy? I want to try the Biorich powder just to see what it tastes like.
