Hi Guys

OK, my vid is not a jaw dropper, but I shot myself...First one shot in Chiangmai just after I picked her up from Honda 'Big Wing', (about 3 weeks ago) The second I made so others on the CB500X Forum could see what the R-11 Yoshimura looked and sounded like, still running in so not exited 6.5 x 1000rpm, So the 2nd vid was getting to hear the low end pick up....But I like the vid.

Looks like a CBR150 imo. Wow, 15 seconds and it was gone! Better always use additional locks.

Thanks

150 was my 1st guess but I was not sure if the 150 had those passenger seat grab rails

So does the 150 have HISS too? What ever tool he used was quick on jumping that ignition

Cbr150 has no hiss. 500 series and up have.

This is a bit long as it is a full lap

Last year with Michael Dunlop on a 600

Released two months ago

At 7:15 or so he come up on 3 riders

From 10:00 or so I blown away by how fast they go thru

those heavily shaded section

They must know the road blindfolded.

like this video of honda cbr1000rr. its riders is using it at its full limits and for a long time! not like a 20 second video.

Surprised on the fact that speedo does not show more than 299 kph!

Whenever he hits 299 sounds like a limiter kicks in?

Or could be him throttle wise

I cannot tell with that rpm gauge if he is hitting redline

Mania, it is not hitting the redline. It has 500 rpm more to go means approximately another 10 kphs.

But some kind of limiter there somehow.

I checked the other cbr1000rr videos and all shows 299 kph max.

I am really interested on new honda cbr1000rr that might be available during 2015. if current cbr1000rr at Honda Bigwing stock is not restricted, i was owning one right now as price is so right!

I do recall reading on many sites a 299kph display limit

Not just this bike but others too

That is not to say that was as fast as it went

But like many say at 299kph the speedo is probably the last place to be looking biggrin.png

My Middle East spec R1 would hit 299 and the speed would stop. The tacho kept climbing.

Maybe this is the guy who passed me when I was loafing along at 140 near Koen Ken.

Zooom.

Gone.

I personally feel that if your bike lacks a large displacement engine then you are not particularly cool.

Others disagree of course.
