Guy Coulon is the technical genius behind much of the Tech3 MotoGP team. He is currently Andrea Dovisioso’s crew chief and has been the mastermind behind the Tech3 Moto2 bike. So what does a guy with all these skills do in his spare time? He builds a 300cc 6 cylinder one off prototype race bike! Details and pictures for that matter are a bit scarce but the basics are;

Watercooled engine built from 2 CBR250 motors, all highly modified of course, custom machined cylinders, crank cases, crankshaft, gearbox…the list goes on I am sure.

60hp at 22,000rpm, the sound of this bike is truly magnificent – I propose a rule change to Moto3, ditch the single cylinder rule and enforce a 6 cylinder rule! Seriously though this bike is a work of art, watch the video below for a taste of the incredible exhaust note.
