Shimmer Powder

Featured Replies

Hi,

My fiancee has a new shimmer powder applicator from colour workshop. But neither of us can figure out how to us it. HELP PLEASE :o

It is like a stubby paint brush with powder inside, a brush at one end and a pump-button at the other. The obviouus thing of pumping the plunger does nothing.

Any ideas girls ?

THanks.

Maybe it's faulty. Take it back to the store for a demo?

Thanks Khall, but it was a present from my daughter and don't know where she bought it. (Different countries).

I suspect the problem is simply my ignorance :o

Oh, I *hate* those applicators. You have to "prime" the brush first by pumping 6 or 8 times. That deposits powder inside the brush, and starts it flowing from the powder chamber into the brush. Then, you use the brush to apply the shimmer powder. You should only have to pump it again occasionally.

My personal experience is that it is nearly impossible to get it started flowing, and it will clog up or quit flowing every 30 seconds, and need repeated pumping *again* to get it started again. But those few seconds it works are very nice, giving a lovely thin powdering.
