PATTAYA:--Police from Huoy Yai have arrested a suspected drug courier in the Kow Mai Geaw area on Highway 331.

On Wednesday Morning, Police Colonel Chonapat, the Superintendent of the station ordered a checkpoint to be set-up along the Highway. A Nissan Cefiro approached the area and appeared to slow-down. Police boxed the vehicle in and conducted a check of the vehicle and its driver, Khun Pisoot aged 30. Inside the vehicle Police found 390 Yabba Tablets and 1.5g of Crystal Methamphetamine.

They also seized 2 mobile phones and 8,000 Baht in cash. Checks were made at the Police Station and Khun Pisoot was found to have been arrested for drugs in 2009 and had been released from prison in September 2011.
