Injured Marines return to their base in Sattahip

SATTAHIP:--The continuing unrest in the South of Thailand continues to claim lives and Thai soldiers are being injured on a daily basis.

On Thursday 9 injured Royal Thai Navy Marines were flown into the Sattahip Navy Base who were injured in a one hour long attack on their base in Naratiwat Province by a group of 12 insurgents. Six of the injured marines were able to walk off the plane with three of them requiring assistance due to the extent of their injuries.
