Looking For Krabi Guesthouse

Featured Replies

Looking for an inexpensive guest house either at Ao Nang or Napporat Thara, centrally located (central to the beach that is) and within a 5-10 minute to the beach. Will be in Krabi 21 April - 12 May.

Hoping for around 500 baht per night and perhaps a long-stay (3 weeks) discount. Don't need fancy, just comfortable.

Prefer A/C, refrigerator and free WiFi

Close enough to walk to a 7-11/Family Mart

No worry about guest friendly as I will be flying solo.

Appreciate any recommendations.

Thanks

Larry

@sscsamui Is there a web site? I can't find White Lotus in Krabi using google

Hi Larry,

in the Surat van thread post #4 I mention where I usually stay, they have some bungalow rooms you can get at 500.

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/535225-mini-van-from-surat-thani/

There is also J - Hotel. I know low season they get 500, not sure about now. They have ocean view/cliff view rooms (pretty nice), you might be able to get them down to 600 for longstay, but for that if you can't get a view room don't stay there. BR, GOM

Found this one for 500/night - Ao Nang Grand Inn

thanks to all that helped

Iand the wife came down from Buriram and stayed in the Me Mee Bungalows in January and would stay again. No 'FREE' wifi though. It right across from Mcdonalds ... close to two 7's and has street food at night across the road. 5 min walk to beach.... about $40 a night ... whats not to like?

Thats a backpacker's hostel-FYI. Low season they get 300/night.

Good location but pretty basic, I use their internet facilities when I'm there. Two doors up is K. Bo at Ao Nang Village, so if after one night there you are not sure, just go two doors up and tell K. Bo you're paying 500 and have him show you one of his bungalows.

BR, GOM

Yep when i go to Aonang have always stayed at Me Mee Bungalows very nice people, clean rooms with all you need 500 a night but thats normally aroun july/aug time
