House Renovation

Featured Replies

I just rent a house near CMU. But the interior needs renotion including painting walls, changing windows and walls etc...Can anyone recommend some reliable contractors? Of course price is a big concern here.

I would try to find a reputable overseer to make sure the work is done proper.

Will the owner not do these things for you?, does not seem sensible

you fixing up a rented house, for the landlord, wish I had you as a

tenant.

regards Worgeordie, PS you will find its a headache finding someone

to do the work AND do it well AND at a reasonable price

I really really want a renter like you. Is the rent contract signed yet? ;)

Don't fix er up to nice, your rent may increase.

I signed a long term contract with the landlord and they offered me a fairly good rent rate. The house is actually in good move in condition. And I just want to fix it up to a style that I like.

Do you have any idea how much it will cost to "change windows"???

Window cost varies by size, style, and type. Last ones I did were of very good quality and about 4000 baht per window with screen,

'Changing' windows may not cost that much. (Moving them). Adding new windows depends on the type.

Sounds like you need a reliable QS to cost up the works and offer design suggestions, a farang project coordinator and a thai team.
