Travelling With A Child That Is Not Your Own

Featured Replies

Hi,

We are currently living in Malaysia, my wife wants to bring her mother and her nephew (1 1/2 yo) to visit, does anyone know if this would be a problem. They both have passport but my concern is a young child (in this day and age) traveling without his parents.

If anyone has any info about this type of situation I would appreciate it.

Thanks

John

We took Mrs Soutpeels niece on holiday one year (she was 6), just got a letter from the parents giving their ID numbers and our PP numbers and they had have given permission for the child to travel with us, in our case was in both English and Thai. Never had any problems
