Check out Ekamai bus station. However, just a word of advice that I stayed on Koh Mak, cannot remember the name of the beach, but it was infested with sand flies and had to leave the next day due to so many bites.

Do you mean "need to go from Trat airport"?

If so, then there are mini buses there when you land. You just need to ask which ones when you get there.

And ditto with the sand flies, although I didn't need to leave.

Mini van five am from Victory monument <In front of Victory point> 300 baht takes you right to the boat that leaves at 10:30am gets you on Koh Mak by 11:30 Speed boat costs 450 baht. Just did that trip yesterday. Easy way to come back also, if you are coming from the Airport then the link is one stop down at Phrya Thai. If you are going to Koh Mak leave early.

Edit those sand flies tore my sh*t up!!! I have bites everywhere. I just suffered through it because they did not get so bad until the last day. I look like an Aboriginal with all the Kalimine dots on me. Bring sun screen bring insect repellant and the best cheapest meals are right up the road<600M> from Aoi Kao dock at a house/mini mart.

Hi

Have a house on Koh Mak so make the trip regularly from BKK to Leam Ngob to catch the speedboat to Koh Mak

There is one goverment bus that comes from BKK city centre via the airport each day at approx 1015 - takes you to leam Ngob in time to catch the last speedboat at 1600 - we normally arrive at Leam Ngob between 1500 and 1530
