scorecard
I use Firefox and Microsoft browsers. Firefox keeps history of all my searches and it come back as I guess you would say 'suggestions' when I start typing in a new search subject. I've tried all the 'settings' within the 'Tools' area but it doesn't stop keeping the history. Would appreciate some advice please. Thanks. Tywais
Make sure you Clear History and set Never Remember then restart firefox to see if that works. Maybe need to clear history once more after restart. I'm assuming you do not mean the Google search toolbar.
melsnet
To stop Googles predictive search you need to change your preferences page. You can reach that page by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner of the search results page, then clicking Search Settings. Google Instant predictions then mark never show results.
