Proving Id - Via A Tha Lawyer

Featured Replies

Hi All

Can somebody offer some advice please .

I am currently residing in Chumphon and awaiting my divorce in the UK

I am going through the process of transfering my (shared house and mortgae) house tittle deeds to my wife and have just been informed that I need to prove my identity on a 1D1 Form

My Wifes UK based lawyers are suggesting I must return to the UK in person in order to have my ID verified. Obviously this is an expensive and time consuming affair .

Can anyone reccomend a Thai based Solicitor who is internastional recogonised who can veryfy my ID ?

also what price can i expext to pay

Thank you for your assistance

You can get your ID verified at the British Consulate in Bangkok, the Honorary Consul in Phuket can also do the same since that's closer, I would guess the cost to be around 2,000 baht although the Embassy website can confirm.
