All Email Notifications Ceased At 4.11 Pm This Afternoon

Featured Replies

As per above, it happened when the multiple e-mails were in their full swing.

There seems to be no current thread on this.

Am I the only sufferer?

No reports so far. All looks normal on our outgoing mail server.

It's magic! They all suddenly appeared a few minutes ago.

Note, this happened on both my lap top and my tablet at more or less the the same time, one using Thunderbird and the other receiving the emails direct so it wasn't a fault this end.

Anyway, now back to normal...

It's happened again!

No email notifications since last night.

I have checked my settings and nothing has changed - all my forums and content are shown as 'notify immediately'.

However I did 'unsubscribe' to ONE topic in the General Topics forum last night - around the same time as all the notifications stopped.

Is there a bug in this, as I have never used the unsubscribe facility before?

We are aware of this issue. Our techs are on it.

I'm not receiving any notifications now. They stopped a day or two ago. I haven't altered any settings. They're not in my spam folder.

Lopburi3 brought me here, from here ! smile.png (Thanks for the link.)

I, too, have not had any email notifications for a couple of days.

I rely on them to go back to threads that I have posted in, rather than visit the long index pages and try to remember whether I posted or not.

I would have appreciated a response to my post. The problem persists

The software vendor is on the case. Sorry for the delay.

Just checking to hear if your emails are trickling in or not?

Going to the wrong email address...could you please add my correct [email protected] you...

You have to do that in your Settings page.

Trickling in???

I just got 31 of the buggers! laugh.png

Thanks, george (I think).

Hmm, I'm going to have to adjust my "Notifications" settings - I just got 66 more emails this morning!! ohmy.png

One thing's for sure - the bug has been fixed! biggrin.png

Pity that the "Your daily new posts digest" bug is still there. I guess that's a different, longer standing problem.

Just to remind you, the link in the email is:

http://ww w.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?topic/540525-uk-pensions/

...and it should be

http://ww w.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/540525-uk-pensions/

Preferably followed by a field of this format:

page__st__2025#entry6035927 - to go to a specific post

or

unread/ - to go to the first unread post.

Cheers,

JS.

Just checking to hear if your emails are trickling in or not?

Yes. My notifications have resumed again.

However, this very poorly handled situation and other situations that I've encountered since joining Thaivisa have caused me to decide that Thaivisa is really not for me. Therefore I would be grateful if you'd give me a link to a page where I can cancel my account. It's not immediately obvious how one closes an account on this forum.
