I know there are many claims of it's usefulness on joints and muscles.

good question that i also cant answer, friend swears by them, i guess its a question of trying and hoping for the best.

Don't know if Air Asia is like EVA Air. They had a catalog with a watch I really liked but would not take one out of the box to see if it fits. I have big wrists so I was for sure not going to buy one unless I knew it fit.
